Terms of use

These terms cover your use of www.matchmakermay.com and your membership in Matchmaker May's network of single women. The site is run by Matchmaker May, which also does business as Two Asian Matchmakers ("Matchmaker May", "we", "us", "our"). By using the site or sending us the form, you agree to these terms, our Privacy policy and our SMS terms.

Who can join

You can join if you:

• are at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms
• are single and looking for a long-term relationship
• give us true, current information about yourself

We review every application and decide who joins the network and who we introduce. We may decline an application, cancel a booked call or remove a profile at any time, and we may not always explain why.

What is free

Joining the network, your call with May and every introduction we arrange are free for women. We will never charge you unless you sign a separate written agreement to become a paying client.

What we promise and what we can't

We work hard to find you good introductions, on a best-effort basis. We can't guarantee any number of introductions, a match or a relationship. How often you hear from us depends on who our clients and partner matchmakers are looking for at the time.

Your call with May

Calls are 30 minutes on Zoom. The earliest time you can book is the next day, so May can read your answers first. To change the time, use the link in your confirmation email or write to may@matchmakermay.com. If May doesn't think she's the right matchmaker for you, she may cancel the call, and she'll let you know by email.

Your responsibilities

• Tell the truth about your age, relationship status and anything else we ask, and send recent photos of yourself.
• Let us know if you meet someone or stop looking, so we don't send introductions you no longer want.
• Treat the men you meet, and our team, with respect.
• Keep what we tell you about a match private. Don't post or pass on his photos, profile or contact details.
• Don't use the network to sell anything, recruit people or ask anyone for money.

Your safety

We get to know every client before we introduce him, but no screening is perfect, and we can't guarantee anyone's identity, background or behavior. For first dates, we suggest you:

• meet in a public place and arrange your own transport
• tell a friend where you'll be
• never send money or share financial details
• leave if something feels wrong, and tell us about it

Messages from us

When you send the form, you agree that May and her team may email you and call you about your application, your call and introductions. We send texts only if you ticked the SMS box (see the SMS terms). You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and stop emails with the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.

Your photos and information

You're responsible for what you send us. You give us permission to use your photos and profile to consider you for introductions and to share a limited profile with possible matches, as described in the Privacy policy. You keep ownership of your photos. We won't post your photos or profile publicly or use them in advertising without your separate written permission.

Other services

Booking runs on HighLevel and calls run on Zoom. Their own terms apply when you use them.

This website

The content of this site belongs to us. You're welcome to read and share it for personal use, but please don't copy it for commercial use. We provide the site "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for the actions of anyone you meet through us, or for indirect or consequential losses. Because the service is free for you, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Leaving the network

You can leave at any time by emailing may@matchmakermay.com. We'll stop introductions and delete your information as described in the Privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll tell you by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
